Cooperative Parenting and Divorce... an 8-week program for divorced, divorcing, separated, and never married individuals.
Cooperative Parenting and Divorce (CPD) is an evidence-based psychoeducational program designed to improve the quality of the parental relationship in situations of divorce or separation. Developed by the founders of the Cooperative Parenting Institute and used across the nation since 1998, CPD is the most extensive, informative, and interactive resource to date regarding the complex realities of divorce.
Over the course of 8 weeks, participants receive 16 hours of education, including videos, lecture, group discussion, skill-building exercises, and at-home practice assignments.
Studies have demonstrated program effectiveness in reducing parental conflict, improving the quality of the co-parent relationship, and increasing the likelihood of optimal post-divorce adjustment for children.
